Lol keep trucking my friend, im trying to get my cam swap done which would be easy but i also want my supra to be ready for spring, cant wait for tax returns lol. Should i go test my 600+rwhp supra and soon to be 430rwhp T/A i n the snow lol

that would be very interesting... how to do burnout in all 5 gears in the supra... with icy roads with no grip!... then video tape it...as I've never really personally seen snow myself...

Snow is fun when you live in Wisconsin atleast, my uncles own 7 snowmobiles, doin a 110 over a frozen lake, with snow drifts that you dont see coming and cause you to get air is pretty intense, but i do miss summer and my fun cars half way through winter. Wisconsin weather is crazy, it was 65 one morning so i too kthe supra to work at the end of this winter, by 1pm it was 30degrees and snowing, the supra had 517rwhp and drag radials i couldnt even make it up the on ramp to the freeway i got stuck in 1 inch of snow lol. Drag radials and snow=bad

LOL... my enemy has a HUGE ass Spoiler and Twin Turbos...and it's the Brand I'm gonna be working for... and the other is a Mach1... I don't race Ricers...unless I have gass left over to waist...LOL

I've never raced for money... EVER... it's a waste of time specially around here... where everyone has that one little secret about them... anywho...most of my friends are broke... (the ones with decent cars)... and Ricers are too chicken shit to even wanna really race...

I hear ya Rikki, I never race ricers. For some reason I always want to race cars that I know will kick my ass! Nobody gives you grief for losing to anything LSX. Modded Machs and Cobras are mean and I'll tip my cap to one as long as they aren't a punk ass.

I only race those kids when they have a civic SI that they think can actually keep up with me cause its a v-tec. If the kid knows he will loose its no fun.

LOL... so true!... haha... I actually have to admit I raced a kid in a new Si the other day...kicked his ass badly... then we talked for a while he was pretty cool about it... then later... I saw him at a friends party... and the kid wouldn't even look at me...

One of my favorite experiences with a ricer, I was driving with my lady, T-tops out and it was a perfect day all except this guy in a primer grey Integra was tailing me like a mo-fo and my girl is getting pissed. Now, usually she begs and pleads for me to not f*ck around but with these guys she had no sympathy for. So this was before the tune and I was running pig rich so at the next light I eased away like normal when it went green and watched the rear view and as soon as they got a little too close, I punched it and covered them in stinky soot and pulled away from them hardcorely.

A few years ago, there was a ricer in my town who was a total douchebag. He had a Civic with "work" done to it. Of course it had a bazillion VTEC stickers, not to mention the giant, ridiculous wing, necessary to generate the downward force required to enable the beast to hold the road at speeds in excess of 200 mph. Naturally, it also had the customary 24-inch diameter fart cannon. At the time, I had my '93 Z28 with the LT4 motor with ported heads, cam, Borla exhaust, all the bolt-ons, and the single intercooled turbo kit. This kid was constantly doing burnouts all over the place, driving wrecklessly, and running his mouth....basically all the antics that make a ricer so dear to a real car guy's heart. I knew the kid had NAWSS, NOSS, or NAWSSSS....however those idiots spell it. Apparently, he heard that my Camaro ran pretty well, because he started racing up and down my street at speeds, probably in excess of 50-60 mph(the speed limit on my street is 15 mph). Then he started revving up his weed whacker engine in front of my house at all hours of the night. One night, I was coming home from dinner with my girlfriend, and I was in the left turn lane on the highway waiting for the light to change. The genius just happened to be on the side road, waiting for the light to change, so he could head down the highway in the direction from which I just came. He saw me there, so he really put on a show this time. He did a burnout as he made the turn, almost crashing into the guardrail, but never backing off. I decided that I finally had enough. I made a U-ee and went after him. He was just pulling into a convenience store. I slowed and revved at him, then he did another burnout and came after me. He got along side of me at about 60. I was waiting for him to go. He turned on these neon lights inside his car, and was fidgiting with something, really reminding me of Hollywood's fictional calamity, which ultimately became the ricer's Citizen Kane. I turned my dome light on and threw my hands up as if to say "anytime you're ready, Dude." Finally, he seemed ready, so I just tapped the gas, because I wanted him to think I was going, so he would hit his first. He did, then I did. I lifted at about 145 and jumped on the brakes, with him WAY back. When he did his patented "ricer fly-by," he was yelling something and flicking me off. He never revved up in front of my house after that, of drove up my street at high speeds. I thought, for a time, that maybe he actually learned something and had some sense. About three weeks later, however, I heard that some had treated his car to a "Molatov cocktail"(is that what it's called and how it's spelled) while it was parked in his daddy's yard one night. Upon learning this, I rejoiced.

Sorry for not getting back to answer questions sooner. Been busy this week.
His car looks completely stock. That's how he likes it and I think that's pretty cool.
1. yes you can brake boost manuals. Alot of turbo'd vehicles won't build boost in nuetral or with the clutch in (My 84 SVO wouldn't)

2. It's a SOHC. He was wanting a DOHC but he got the SOHC for cheaper.

3. It's built a little. Enough to hold 15 PSI.

God i ahte 4 cylinders, with my supra at 14psi i made 470rwhp, on a 67 trim turbo at 21psi just over 500rwhp, soon to be the 28 psi setup with head work. Even if a civic did make that much power to the wheels he would never be able to launch that car.

supras i like cuz they look good, theyre sporty shaped almost like an fbody. long and 2 doors. they come with a removable top option... they arent POS 4 bangers, they are 6 cylinders (obviously8 is better, but a straight 6 makes decent power. they are all straight 6's right? or did some of them have v6s). turbod they make awesome power and they are rwd. everything id want in a ricer haha

Not my fault my buddy with the Supra is a Asshole about how "great it is"... and doesn't wanna admit to the fact that my car is just as fast for a car that cost $16K less...and is 5 years younger then his... and then he bitches and moans about not wanting to go down the track or on the Dyno until he got a boost Controler so he can boost up to 18+lbs... and dyno better then us (me and his bro in a mach1)...

but they are very nice looking cars...and aerodynamicly they are great...and in handling it's stock suspension kicks my reworked suspension's butt...

oh and... btw... Guru's supra is the older style body with I think a 1JZ... not the last model ones

Yes i have a 87 but the 1jz was the japanese motor bakc then and i have the 7mgte, the 1jz is a 2.5 liter inline 6 and the 7mgte is 3.0liter inline 6 the 1jz come twin turbo and mine came single turbo but its a much larger turbo now. I just hate front wheel drive cars, who race. If you make 350rwhp or more you really can launch the car at all, and then you get people who tell you the car is setup to inly run a certain amount of boost in first gear so they can launch, which is great until you realize you now a built car that is only launching at half the horsepower the guy in the rearwheel drive car next to you can launch at.
