They used to give a 2 week free trial for WoW...probably still do. I did the trial and that was enough for me...I damn sure don't see what all the hype is about.

They have 3 month trials now. First 3 months are free. 99% of users end up playing for 12 months+, so its quite a deal. Im actually not paying for mine right now. I signed up using a credit card that ended up being cancelled. This was 5 months ago, i havnt seen a bill, nor have they cancelled my wow account yet.

i guess im missing somehting here.. im busy with work, bars, women, and trying to keep the house orderly (all in that order) When i play games, tiger woods and or madden, poker, and bowling on the wii.. oh and The Bigs for the wii is the shit to play with 4 people... what is this WoW??? I think someone already said NERD ALERT!!!!!
the last rpg i beat was FFVII.. when i was in HS!
the think i made it half way through Warcraft III
the last game i seriously got into was Elder Scrolls; Morrowind (2-3yrs ago) best game evar!!
i am the sheeeet at tiger woods '07 on the 360... always end up playing with a buzz though.. helps my swing..
edit: ffvII not IV!!Last edited by whoa guy; 08-28-2007 at 05:31 PM.

You're missing the fact that a LOT of wow players are way below 21, cant get into bars, or get g/fs for that matter. I have a g/f, cant get into bars, and have no house to take care of. Sooo i play.

no shame in playing, i have had a few addictions to games the most recent one was 1 year ago when i got oblivion, 40+ hours in 2 weeks! the saddest part is i am old enough to get into bars, im married, have a house to take care of and plenty of other shit that is way more important than gaming.

Nope no shame at all. I dont mind it, its a fun game. I used to be addicted to Elder scrolls 4 for 360, then i got WoW so i started that.
