Whats the fastest you've been clocked at?

My buddy and I were coming back from texas going to nc and I got a ticket for doing 99 in a 65 in southern Alabama. We were cruising at over 120 before this but we slowed down to go around a corner then I saw him on the other side of the road and he came flying across oncoming traffic and came after us. Of course I downshifted and got it up to about 140 and was shit he's still coming so I shut it down and he wrote me a ticket for doing 99 in a 65 (not the 140 he saw me do and it didn't go on my license..lol) and said that he wanted to arrest me but since we were heading back for a short notice deployment that he would let me go. Well my buddy never slowed down. He said I'm not stoping and he didn't. Fucker!!!

I'm sure the radar cameras have clocked me, but I alwasys keep it right at 8 over for the 10mph over trigger.

I normally try not to do more than 5 over.

I usually do about 5-10 over on the surface streets, but on the freeways, here in Phoenix, it seems like the cops don't have any interest in speeders at all. Plus, the vast majority of people are doing at least 10-15 over, so you have to kind of try to keep up.

i got pulled over once...well...the way the cop pulled me over was more like a head on collision with strobe lights...douchebag. anyway. pulled me over, yelled at me wanting to know why i was doing 20mph in an empty parking lot where there were no speed limit signs posted. dumb fucker.

another time after leaving the drag strip (legal strip i might add) i got pulled over doing what they clocked me at 75 in a 55...when i passed the undercover cop i was doing about 80 or 85...the dirtbag chick in front of me was doin 90 or better but my red monte carlo was the one that got pulled over with my dial in times still on the windshield. grrrr.

state trouper pulled me over for doing 40 in a 35...written warning.

same state trouper pulled me over once before that for doing 61 in a 45. wanted to know why i was speeding. told her the truth. i was late to pick a friend up to take his car in for repair work. she asked me if i wanted to see the speed trap...61 right on the nuts. i had just gotten new tires so i was "happy" to see that my speedo was still spot on.

and the fastest speed i saw go by was on my motorcycle. saw 145mph go by...but i didn't get hit by a cop...there were about 12 of us out in the middle of nowhere when we opened up.

Let's see.....

Only time for speeding was 80 in a 65. Got a warning, but the cop was asking me what i had under the hood.

Another time for 'exhibition of speed' in a parking lot, once again, warning with questions about the engine.

Another time for street racing, more questions about the car, how it was running, etc.

The cops round here like to mess with me, but not write me tickets.

fastest ive ben clocked: 120 in a 55...dont know what the statey had to say about that tho

fastest ive gotten caught doing: 90 in a 45, walked away w/ a warning some how..
fastest they claimed i was doing: 100+ in a 30, beat the R&D but not the $600ticket

in ny, in traffic court, the cop has to show up and plead his case then you get a chance. if the cop doesnt show up twice the judge can dissmiss the case. my cop hasnt shown up 8 times. the judge wont dismiss the case due to the severity of the charge. so i just keep showing up...
