I would trade jobs with anyone right now. My old job was working in a motor shop making close to 2500 dollars a month.....all was going great til I.R.S. came and locked doors. Owner wasn't paying taxes and all that good stuff. Now im making like 400 a month......if gas keeps going up(witch it will) i cant drive my 96` gmc sierra z71 delivering pizzas(my dd s10 is dead at moment). I would pack up and leave ohio instantly if i can find a job outta town or state. Anyone have a suggestion on a good state/town to move to?
    High revving TPI........wait oxymoron?

Personally I'd do anything to get my old job back at BD medical in columbus, ne. Startin out I was making 11/hr and 18 with overtime. I made over 2k a month and like i said i'd do anything to get back there. I was on my way up and could of made even more money. The cost of living in columbus, ne is so cheap and 2k a month goes a long way. On top of that the work is so easy. All you have to do is stay away from the drama that comes with working in a factory. GOOD LUCK man.....good luck

The Marine Corps is always hiring. They feed you, they clothe you, they pay you, and they give you a room. Come to the dark side.

got up, ate, lifted weights, did various weather tasks, listened to music, did more weather tasks, gave the CO a brief, and am currently looking at ls1.com and doing various other weather related tasks. I'm a weather Forecaster. but.. not on tv.

Just because you didn't like the military, and got stuck with shit work doesn't make it bad. I've been in the Navy for eight years...of course everything isn't perfect, but that is with any job. I've had to chip paint, paint the side of a ship, wax, sweep, mop, work 36 hour days, been away from my family for months up to 6 months at a time, paint, paint, paint... But I have also been the network administrator at 2 different commands, I have been to Spain, Italy, Greece, Scotland, Ireland, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands. I have been sent to 3 major Network Administrator schools, including one for Network Security. In the next couple months they are sending me to get Cisco Certified. I am currently an E-6. Today I scanned 3 different networks for vulnerabilities, 2 tech assists, worked out, did training, and checked up on my LS1. And now I am about to go do some server maintenance. So I say don't Fk the military. I am proud to serve, and am thankful for the chance to support my nation while aquiring an education and training. Horrible to see that you feel that way...

well today I have been running back and forth to the Fairgrounds to set up our engine display. I have been to the speed shop twice to get little misc parts for some of the display engines. Now I am working on engine order forms and billet aluminum oil filter order forms. I have to go back over to the fair ground once my table cloths and skirts get here so I can finish setting up tonight. that way all I have to do tomorrow is take the model over to the display and get her setup with the raffle. In between all of this I have to mount and balance some tires for a buddy of mine. its gonna be a long next few days.

today did a political satire show i do now and then. built a steel fence with barbed wire on top around the presentors desk. a little hommage to the G8 summit next week in heiligendamm (just an hour drive from here), they built a huge perimeter fence around the place: 8 miles long!!! we had a german top politician (green party) as a guest in the studio. talk in a cage, was really funny... looked like guantanamo.

Well say what you want, I like being in the military and everything about it, i like the exceptional gym we have, the free food, and nice room to stay in, i just happened to get stuck with a crappy job that i'll never use again. I actually don't mind "shit" work at all. I'd rather go out and dig trenches all day than do this. I do volunteer oportunites non stop so i can help the community out and just to get away from work for a while. I wanted to travel and I'll never get to go anywhere or go tdy. One of the main reasons i signed up was to go somewhere. I was just really ticked off when i typed that up. Sorry this is kinda jacking the thread
