60' is what most people concentrate on when trying to dial in a combination. 2.00 seconds or around there is pretty typical of most street cars on stock tires. My 02 SS convertable with an auto ran back to back 2.17 and 2.18 times consistently. No wheel spin at all, it was rather easy to drive. The lack of gear and converter in mine (it's stock) is what dictated that. You have a great running car. Keep tinkering with it. Larry.
Hrmmm...dont keep fixing it until it's broke though!

12.7 in stock trim is just insane, talk about a factory freak.

Something tells me the car isn't bone stock.
Might have DR's or something on it.

Yeah, I ran a guy with an LT1 in my 5.0. Got out, talked to him "Yeah, my Z is stock, just has a CAI and catback). I got to talking to him about my WS6 ect, and ended up he pops the hood...HEADERS WTF!? "Oh yeah, those, and my ORY, yeah...well, yeah..."

Heard it all before. The car is NOT stock. No clue what he has done to it but im sure its more than a lid. I have seen bone stock A4's dyno 310whp and still only run 13.2's. No way he is 1/2 second faster bone stock. Evan Smith ran 12.8 at E-town in an M6. I doubt your guy is going to be running 12.7's with worse transmission gear spaceing and less/= whp at a track that ISNT E-town.

He probably has FRA, ORY, Lid, and all the free mods plus a tire.

yeah, and evenif he doesnt have dr's he could have stuff u cant see like gears and tuning. Still i have yet to see just a car with 4.10's run anywhere near a 12.7, or stock of that matter.

Fair enough, +1 to him! It was a great run with an awesome 60' for a bone stock setup.

I just bought a m6 ws6 last night. And it is bone stock. No exaust or intake or nothing. So I will take it to the track in the next few weeks and see what it runs. BUt my best friend has a modded m6 SS and he can't get lower than a 13.8

PM me what it runs, I have an 01 M6 WS6 BONE STOCK as well. 79K pampered miles on it. Just changed the clutch today and it had a lot of life left (TO bearing is the reason we did the change). Car was obviously a highway car like the old guy said.

Did you already order the SLP headers? If not, take a look at them again, a lot of guys complain about how low they hang and if you lower your car you lose even more ground clearance. I myself don't plan on lowering my car. I do have a set of brand new Pacesetter coated emission's headers for my 00 SS that I'm going to sell instead of installing if you're interested. I don't want to start any problems with ads so if you're interested you can pm me for price.

SLP=overpriced and not much hp gain and drags on the ground
Pacesetter= GREAT price, good fit, decent hp gain
Kooks=Best of everything, but a little more expensive than SLP

SLP is basically a name-whore thing.

    Agreed.

I had SLP longtubes. Talk about a rookie modding mistake.
Scraped them all the time....when I was at the stock ride height.
I am now dropped with the ProKit and running Kooks. I don't scrape anymore. Go figure.

    SLP = crap.
