    But I can't see it.
It takes 390 RWHP to run an 11.6 with a 3100 pound car.
    Not saying it hasn't been done...but I would like a thread/slip/something.
I have a friend with a 2002 Z06. Great car. Made 365-370 at the wheels stock, so it is close power wise.
But that requires a perfect launch and an even better day weather wise.
Did you look in the thread I linked? J-Rod and Ranger on ls1tech have both done some really amazing things in the C5 Z06.

I like the C5's better. Don't ask me why but they appeal to me a little better than the C6's do. I still like both but I think that the C-5 look a little more menacing when they are lowered and have after market wheels added.

I think the c6 is one of the prettiest cars I have ever seen. I love the new headlights. It def. looks more modern. I guess the difference in opinion is if you like modern or classic look. hate to break tradition but the car looks awesome.

I hate the lack of pop up lights, but the rest of the car is enough... now if I could talk the wife into letting me spend $50k I'd never ask to PIHP

It is probably the same as a normal C5.

No, it is a Titanium exhaust system to keep the weight down.

Damn, talk about going all out to save 10lbs. I knew the floorboards were made of wood, but never heard anything about a Titanium exhaust. I think cujo was thinking more along the lines of performance. I bet they perform identically.

The floorboards are wood? I'm going to do some research on the z06, but what are the differences between the z06 and c5?

I guess all C5s have the Balsawood floor:
