Cruise in was a bust tonight. Our car and Darren's Trans Am. The local police were nice enough to join us, and when Dawn rolled up in her DD Challenger so that made a total of 4 cars.

Climbed some dunes in the Jeep today and drove about halfway to Virginia on 12 where it's just shoreline. Considering a lift and more tire after some of the ruts

We always went for a drive on the beach north of Corolla up to where they have the posts sunk in around the VA/NC border. I always thought that would be the fastest way home from the Outer Banks if you get past those damn posts.

An F450 ambulance had no problems
Hell I wish the Jeep was heavier. Wouldn't have been tossed around as much with some of the rutsLast edited by GTP231; 05-06-2016 at 06:21 AM.

We have seen a couple of cars get stuck, usually when they stray to far away from the beach and try to get up near the dunes. Seeing the wild horses is a neat experience.
I think I have three cars coming through the garage today - tires, unknown front end noise, and an exhaust system rattle. Two Dodges and an Acura.

Strike that. Four cars. My brother just showed up with dad's Honda POS truck for a P/S fluid leak.
It's trying to turn nice out, but so far it's been cool, cloudy and a little drizzle on and off all morning.

Back from Outer Banks. Oh boy return to grass that needs cutting and work on Monday
Maybe I'll get an answer from my buddy as to when his brother in law wants to get struts on his Cobalt so I can order themLast edited by GTP231; 05-07-2016 at 01:05 PM.

I usually do at least once on a vacation - just not the day before we depart!

Dropped 1620 at the boats in the last 6 days. I'm done.

Restoration on the Radio Flyer wagon is coming along nicely. May even have it completed by the weekend.

Corvette has been awoken from its winter slumber. Hopefully the weather will stay decent and there will actually be cars at the cruise in this week.
