Gto=gheto
i can't believe that anyone could find the GTO sweet, nice, etc..... it looks like a cavailer took some muscle juice.... other than its power train that car has no styling.... obviously the designer of the 99-02 t/a either quit or was fired, cause there is no way the same person designed the GTO, also known as the GHETO.

Two things: 1. I vote 'no', since I have an '02 WS6...I want it to keep appreciating.
And 2. Some of those concepts look too much like the "new old" Mustang...that's the last thing I want the new Firebird to look like.

I voted no even though I have a 1998. i love the styling of the 4th generation bird. Maybe some day I will go out and buy a 2002 but my car runs and looks perfect.Heads turn when i drive down the beach and people point and stare...no its not because I have some growth on my head...It's a bad ass car!!! If they came out with something similar to the 4th generation that we have now I would go out and buy it tomorrow!!! But not that piece of crap!!! I hate it!! I think it hurts everyone that has a 4th generation not just the 2002's.

I couldn't agree with you more. Personally... I hate retros. They look like a new old car. Sorry.
I was really hoping for a next-generation car... not a prequil.

Black- 2000 Trans Am
the new concept drawings look too much like the camaro. It's too blocky. The one thing I always like about the two cars, was even tho they were similar they were very different.

06-13-2006, 08:50 PM #54Check out the picture I posted 2 replys above your post. How is that "blocky" at all?? I think it easily rivals the 98-02 T/A's in terms of a sleek and aggressive appearance.

Now that you mention it, it does look like the caddy.

Those are some awesome concept photochops.
I like the Trans Am fascia with the quad circle headlamps best, it just fits the T/A best. The single headlights on each side looks too much like the Camaro.
Nice work.

Red- 1995 Trans Am 6 Speed
For one thing a new TA means for once in my life, I order it my way and NEW! (past TAs, 75 (basic no air factory installed rust), 78 (clean ran great, 4 MPG around town, 12 highway), 79 (basic 301 4 speed with T top, 130K miles when purchased owner induced tail panel and truck floor rust), now 95 (owener # 3, valve cover oil leak, basic seats take some fun out of driving, owner # 1 body work flaking the paint.)
If Luts makes it, I will go with $$$$ in hand. Are you Listing General?
