they didn't score 21 the first quarter though and Romo single handedly cost them that game......twice. Trying to be a hero on the goal line and fumbled and then the dumb ass throw to a dinged up Bryant when he had Revis in his back pocket. There was a reason the jets moved Revis to Bryant after his big catch. Should've kept killing them with the tight ends.

Colts goijg qfter andrew luck next draft would be smart. They invested so much in peyton that they forgot to get even a decent backup. All the losses that they will have is strictly managements fault. Why not have an up an coming qb to learn behind possibly the best qb ever? Doesnt make sense to have people behind him that when peyton goes down you dont even trust to put in. Dont trust so much that you have to pull a 41 year old man from a family thing to tell him you have a job in probably the hardest offense to learn? Doesnt make sense to me. Colts deserve everything they have coming this year
With one championship to his name, I don't even put Peyton Manning as a top 5 all time QB. His post season history is not worthy of being mentioned as the best ever IMO. Agree with everything else you state, if Dallas ever wants to be a title contender, it won't be with Romo leading the team, I am a Dallas fan and have been saying this for 3+ years now. He is great for fantasy teams, but he chokes under pressure, plain and simple.

So Dan Marino isn't a top 5 all-time QB to you? Going to have to disagree with your position. To me it comes down to who I would want calling the snaps on my team, if I could have anyone that ever played the game. For me, it's Manning or Favre. You can't rate a man only on his super bowl wins, or only on his postseason wins. You have to look at EVERYTHING. And Peyton has done everything else so well that his postseason performance only looks not quite as good in comparison...and that's not enough to discount him in my mind. Peyton Manning is at least in the top 3 best ever, if not THE best ever.

Since the end of Romo's first season as a starter, i've been telling people he's not the answer for Dallas. This SHOULD be his do or die year. If he can't take this team deep into the playoffs, it's time for Dallas to move on. Though i'm not sure JJ will. There is no excuse anymore...there hasn't been for years in my mind, but this year there's no question. They have talent at every key offensive position. There's no reason they can't make a good playoff run, other than Romo.

I can think of 5 better ones that would QB my team, besides Marino, Favre or Manning.

You cant argue with facts and fact is Favre and Manning hold almost all the QB records between the two of them.

Play long enough at a high level....and you get that.
Not saying they weren't/aren't great QB's, but I can see the point that they aren't Top 5.

Greatest QB will always be a great debate and great conversation.

Correct and a crap ton of positive records as well. I do not think either is the best QB of all time but I wouldnt mind having either one as my QB in there prime. Its also hard to compare players from different decades as sports change as the years go by. Bart Starr and Johnny Unitas were the best in there day but they would be lost in todays offenses and defenses.

If you can keep up with mid 20 year olds when you are mid to upper 30s that means you have talent and natural ability. Means your body has survived 10+ years of abuse and still has the skill to win games at teh highest level.
