I was talking about a chain for the wife

3 weeks ago was a rough day. I'm at work in FL and my youngest GS got sick, my wife and son had to take to vet. She was soooo bad that the Vet said she wouldn't make it to the vet hospital. Her liver was gone, white blood cell count was 1000 to 1 red cell. I couldn't say the words, my wife had to tell me to let the vet give her peace. Vet thinks she may have gotten poison from mushrooms. We didn't find any but my neighbor on her side of the fence found 3-4. We still find ourselves calling her name when we go to take the other one out.

Sad very sad when this chapter of having a pet falls upon a family especially with kids, lived in FLA over 20yrs and mushrooms sounds very strange are you good friends with the neighbors?

This is our new dog....bad ass. Smartest dog I've ever had but not so smart he's a pain in the ass. Dog literally never causes problems.

We do want another bigger guard dog att some point but need something a little less aggressive than a doberman. Wife wants a rott....I'd like to have an Australian cattle dog for the brains. We're all pretty content with just the one dog right now though so not sure when or if we'll get a 2nd dog.

I didn't think my wife would want another GS for a while, but she's been dropping hints. When our last GS past she was old.....like almost 16 and it took almost 18 months before she considered the thought.
