Oh yeah, the 3V cars are very nice.

And that brings me back to my 2nd all time favorite Mustang, the 99-04 GT. They may not be the best performers out there when compared to the LSX series cars, and they're not that great of a deal since the LS1 F-Body's are pretty much in their ballpark in terms of pricing, but I am just completly in love the way they look and sound. Definently one of my personal favorite "modern" muscle cars.

I always considered "pony car" to be a sub-category of "muscle car"

Not really if you look at the engine's position relative to the front wheel centerline. The windshield being way raked out gives the appearance of it though. It may make working on the car a hoe, but it's worth 2/10's of a mpg and (atleast according to forza) the weight split is biased significantly to the front of the car

since it is 2010. 4th gens and c5 are no longer modern muscle. The ls1 is an old engine. Yes its a great engine but it is old and a few generations old too.

Sadly in terms of muscle, just talking pony cars: Challenger, Mustang and Camaro. None of them impress me. I dont care for the retro throwback, non wrap around cock pit design. GM dropped the ball, the GTO should have been the retro throw back, and the camaro should have been an evolution off the 4th gen.

I do believe a muscle car, must be a 2 door, however for modern muscle right now its a Cadillac CTS-V sedan until the 2 coupe is released. Which then turns the genre into luxuary muscle.

I agree with this. The CTS-V is the right amount of muscle and luxury with a little bit of stealth (most ppl don't consider this Caddy a muscle car) without breaking into the corvette/viper price tag.

I also feel like I'm in the late 70's to mid 80's where muscle cars started getting neuter and became just a name with no balls for power.
