the 'jerk' is REALLY someone who displays his sexuality and confidence, at all times, he is comfortable and bold.

the 'niceguy' is someone who thinks women are turned off by guys being, well, guys, and thusly tries to hide this and be as non-sexual around female aquaintinces as possible, these are the guys that get friend zoned.

You lost me.So you are saying that guys should be nice and get friend zoned? In my experience...you will never get anywhere with a girl being a pushover from the start,they won't respect you. sure,if she is the right one,you can lay off the asshole routine.

i'm just talking stereotypically, 95% of men think you have to be an asshole to get women, because thats what the guys in the movies do and it always works for them. but being a dick wont get us anywhere, we instead need to be confident, look acceptable, be polite and maybe make a sexual pun here and there for a real winning formula.

When women used to ask me my viewpoints on relationships, I laid all the cards on the table. I told them I am honest, hardworking and responsible. Some women were surprised and others were turned off. I got tired of trying to figure them out and went about my business. Oh well. I realized I am better off single. There hasn't been a woman to prove me wrong yet, so I'm good.
