Sebring Silver Metalic- 2002 Camaro Z28
I don't think that is entirely accurate in FL.

if i was reading correctly tonight, i think they mean you can't display red in the front, and never blue. i could be wrong.
i came across this while trying to find out if clear signal lamps where permitted, e.g. swapping the front ambers for the clear ones.
each state is different, and hopefully each state as a web site with all the laws.
to the OP though, i bet your state has something similar, just be careful. Hey I dig the knight rider look, lol... watched that show all the time. I think the MOD is neat, and well, IMO not many cars can pull it off.Last edited by kool-aide; 12-28-2009 at 06:55 PM. Reason: poor sentence grammar

It is unlawful for any person who is not an active firefighter member of a regularly organized volunteer firefighting company or association or a physician or technician of the medical staff of a medical facility licensed by the state to display on any motor vehicle owned by him or her, at any time, any red warning signals as described in subsection (1)

Wrong on that. Check the Florida statutes. It's Chapter 316.
http://www.leg.state.fl.us/STATUTES/...6/titl0316.htm
There's a lot of rules. See sections 316.216 through 316.241.
This is the most relevant one, but the others are good to read if you're planning on extra lights.
316.2397 Certain lights prohibited; exceptions.--
(1) No person shall drive or move or cause to be moved any vehicle or equipment upon any highway within this state with any lamp or device thereon showing or displaying a red or blue light visible from directly in front thereof except for certain vehicles hereinafter provided.
(references to emergency vehicles follow verbosely)have mine attached to the foglight switch, so I can shut them off if necessary. Cops have bothered me for other stuff, but never for my lighting.
Section 316.2396 states that you can have up to 4 additional forward facing white lights, not to exceed 300 candlepower. He's really asking for trouble with red lights in the front.
