sv650 as a starter FTW!!!!!!!!

sv650 is really all the bike you'll ever need on the street

I figured it would be a good idea to get something cheap, also 500-600. Then work from there, my stepdad said another good bike, that should be cheap. Is the SV550? I know a naked bike would be a good choice, but seem to be a bit more pricey.

it's not like cars, you won't lose a lot of money when you sell the bike in a year, especially if it's 03sv650

I got mine for $3600 used with 12K miles and sold it for $3500 5 months later with twice as many miles

your location sucks when it comes to riding IMHO not the weather, roads. I like them as curvy and tight as possible.
