Are you tinted?

got mine tinted with 10% on the side and rear windows and 35% on the windshield and i love it. you can see out just fine at night esp. with HID's and it keeps most of the sun out during the day

i got 30% on back and sides. I had it done professionally because that back window is a mofo to do it right. Cost me $160.

In Cali front tinted windows is ilegal.

I got 5% on the hatch and 35% soon to be 20% when I have it redone. Cost me $150. My gut charged $25 front since there is no frame and $100 for the hatch. Charging me $50 to redo the from a shade dared like my trailblazer. I just tip the inspection buy and no tint check or visual inspection for cats.

i think i am one of the few TA's that does not have tinted windows...i never spent a cent on the car unless it made it go faster...other than wheels when a killer deal comes around

Guess it depends how hot it is where u live and personal taste. I tint all my cars not just for.looks it is hot here and in Florida most of the year so makes the car cooler and mason keeps the sun from trashing your interior, that's why people like me who have those ugly sunshades for when we park have 98's and no cracked dashes. Tint is more than a simple appearance mod.it does serve a.purpose.

I once had a blazer and it had factory tint on it and one day i got the bright idea to put limo tint on over that. When it was all said and done you could not see in the windows nor see out of them at nighttime.... lol

I wouldnt go too dark with the tint,well i say that because were i live you can't have your side windows to dark i got pulled over in my z28 twice for that and got warnings.but definitly go 5% limo in the back.

My windows are def. not tinted & I hate it! As soon as I find a reputable place I'll be looking to get it done.

OP- if you dont want any attention from the cops in michigan i would only go 35% on the sides. my camaro has 20% on sides %5 on rear, looks awesome, also i have 20% front sides and %5 on the rest in my GXP and within a month after i got them done ($250 by a shop) i had gotten pulled over twice. michigan law says 4" from the top of the front sides and windshield. i guess it really depends on where u live but choose wisley good sir

you and me both about the wheels. i traded my stock ss wheels for a set of c6's even over all i had to do was replace the rear two tires

dude my tint is 5% or maybe below...all i know is it is borderline illegal

no one can see in and i can barely see out...it looks sick but is a bit overkill. 15-20 is a good one

I got 20 or 17% on sides and rear/ t tops, with a blue vinyl strip on rear cutting off like 1/4 of rear window and 35 on the front. I love it. Perfect. Barly see in, which is what I want because police discriminant a 20 year old in a trans am with 20 coats of wax on it. I hate pigs.

I had ny car done by a friend who does it at a shop and side jobs at his house. I find 5% good for the hatch and ttops can see out good bit not in and I have 35% on the side which was ok in MA where they were stricken. In DO all my cars had 5% all around. I plan to redo the fronts in 20% like my truck cops never bother me and easy to see out can barely tell a difference looking out only looking in and keeps.more uv out.

Making it harder to see into your car draws more attention from cops trust me. FYI since your new cop bashing is a no-no.

Looks good, thats actually a little darker than I thought it would be. Makes me not feel as bad about having to get 35%.. Nice car btw.. Anyone else with 35% pics?
