happened in the 2000s too ..its not like this recession is going to last forever.. i believe it is priced competitively..and it will continue to sell strong..the car is a good car and a proven performer

GM, pontiac and the GTO could have done well and the new camaro could sell even faster, if:

-GTO return was retro (it would have been released before dodge and fords retro attempt) Plus a new GTO with stacked headlights like the 60s would have sold huge today. Most people dont even know stacked headlights once existed.

-camaro should have been an evolution of our 4th gen, but with chiseled lines in the style of the cts and corvette.

I've always pondered this.. kind of one of those "would have been nice if.." things. Though on the bright side Pontiac being gone could drive the prices of well maintained and good condition 4th Gen Formulas and T/As.

pontiac will definately be missed,by car people.the general public doesn't have any loyalty to car brands like they used to,they buy whatever is the least expensive or the current "car fad"

I don't know where you can get a 20k v6. A no option v6 is 22,245 and they have a crazy mark up even on them around here. You could get an earlier ls1 z28 or Formula for that much though.

You must be referring to ALL camaros, and that half you speak of (bolded) are third gen owners.
