Phantom Black Metallic- 2004 GTO M6
I would have kept the guitar and learned to play. But that's just me.

I dig it Orion
Who gives two shits what Kyle Busch does with a cheesy guitar that was given as a trophy.
I think it was a killer move and he met with the artist that did the original and bought two more of the guitars to give to his crew.
Nascar needs more drama
An after race fist fight was what put NASCAR on the map and Earnhart usd to say all kinds of stuff when they interviewed him.
There are too many rules and politically correct things going on in todays NASCAR.
Let's go backto the old redneck "I'll kick you ass if you cut me off" days

I agree 100%. Not enough fighting going on. I remember a quote by a driver once asking about his home track growing up and he said " We had a fight every Saturday night and every once in a while a race broke out. " That's what nascar needs back in it and get rid of these 18 year old kids that look good in ads.

I hated when they starting freezing the field at the caution myself. That and pit road speeds are safer but really......now many injuries in the past were due to those 2 things? The old cars weren't near as safe as these either. Nascar will reap what it sews. They pissed off a lot of the old die hard fans in order to pick up the younger fans but what they fail to realize is the younger generation has no attention span and will jump on the next big thing that comes along. I'd say the hanger on's from the old days is the only thing keep the tracks above water these days.

Nails in the coffin were the policing of the driver's attitudes, commercials, and all the cookie-cutter tracks and mostly the damn COT. Pit roads speed a killer? No way, that doesn't affect racing one bit and saves alot of lives/injuries to pit crew members. How many times have u seen cars spin out on pit road and hit other cars that are pulling in/out? Now imagine those cars are goin 150+. Crew members wouldn't have time to think, let alone dive out of the way. Bill Elliots crew member was killed by a result by this, and the speed limit was issued soon after.

they are still a lot of pit road injury's .. .. I have always kept up with NASCAR .. granted loosing one life is always to many .. but how many people were killed in the years from 59-92... how many times do we still see injuries .... granted a pit road speed on yellow is prob a good idea .. but green means GO ...

actualy your time on and off track would be less ... the accidents mostly happen right as they are takeing off or starting up .. stuff like crewmen not getting out of the way for pit out .. cars getting to close to edge of pit ... if there wasnt a speed limit .. the cars couldnt get up to 55 any faster than they do now ... dont see a car hitting a guy out in the pit road just within like 5-6 foot of his box ... when Mikey hit that guy in the pits that started the rule .. he had already slowed down to enter his pit ,,, not because he was raceing down pit road .. .. you have to be so slow to get into your box ... are not going to stop in time to hit you pit box if your still going over 100 dont care how good your brakes are

Hmmm good point .. It might have been Mikeys accident why pit crew guys are wearing helments now ... I remember the guy got cliped and did a header in his windshield ....
. My point remains valid tho .. you still see guys doing 180s and slideing into other teams pits ..
