when they first came out with those...the commercial was them using a hole saw to make a 1 inch hole in the sideway...then drive 50 miles...like someone else said, it works off of stiff sidewalls

I agree, he couldn't drive the car to it's potential, i guarantee most of us on here could of easily done better. Besides, it's a tv show, he was limited to the set in which they were filming. Didn't really show how the cops had a chance to plant the spike strips ahead of him now did it. In real life you probably aren't going to out run a chopper either. In reality, he could of put a lot more distance on those cops and took the turns a lot more faster, he never should of gotten a chance to be pit manuevered. But that's a reality tv show, they aren't realistic.

Victorville is out in the desert east of LA. It looks like they filmed it at George AFB which was closed down years ago. Alot of the housing looks like military housing.

We get alot of car chases here in Socal, probably more than anywhere else, and for the most part they always get caught. Jesse had a fast car but as the cops say, you can't outrun Motorolla. It was definetly cheesed up for the cameras though.

And for those who say they could have out drove the cops, remember that they weren't trying to put Jesse in the wall. In the real world thats what would have happened. The cops were treating this as a training exercise.

Either way it was fun to watch.

nobody sayin anything about him not being able to start the car after sitting and hiding, WTF did they do to that. It was a mint condition 02 35th an. car, should have no problem starting it even though they relocated the fuel tank. I agree on the run flats, if I get time and unlimited budget to plan my next cop chase I am adding a smoke screen and oil slick, 007 style. HA-HA! Cool show though. I would have rather him kill an older LT1 car.

On "the soup" on "E!" they showed a clip of this episode where Jessie called off the chase saying that it was too dangerous.. I always assumed it was part of the aired episode until I watched the whole thing. Joel McHale was basically making fun of him for wearing a helmet in a car with a full road cage and being a pu$$y..
