Most dogs are protective of their family. They know when something ain't right. Size don't even matter. Even the ankle biters.

Never cared too much for Dobermans myself. Their was one at petsmart taking classes when my dog was a pup. The doberman snapped at him when the lady was not paying attention.

I'm sure it's bs but I hear the way a doberman's head somehow causes them to go nuts later in life. I've heard that about pits as well... mY dogs head is so dam big I'm sure he's got room to spare.

thats a disease that is inherited. buy from a reputable breeder and you wont have that problem. its very rare. great danes can get it too

the shepherd is my only female so herman and her get along great when she's lying down. I have had to break up the dobie and the dachshund on numerous occasions. and herman was not winning.

i always thought sheppards were "the most loyal" of all the dogs?

My shepherd is extremely loyal to me but my doberman and others ive been around just seem to have a relationship with their owners that is in seperable. Shepherds are still great dogs just in my experience I would say the doberman is more loyal. as far as brains go....the shepherds damn einstein.

their a medium cut....they look like long show crop in the pic.....thats the way the vet wrapped em

& im so glad i chose a doberman......ive owned many german shepards, a siberian husky & a golden retreiver....@ 8 months armand is proving he is smarter, more loyal and definitely more eager to learn than any dog ive ever owned...and my last gs was a damn einstein lol
