stupid SLP intake lid

QFT...that's all you should have to do...if not trim the bellows. Problem solved.

well i got out to the storage unit today and put the headlights back in and popped the upper lip inside the lower lip and wham-o...snapped right into place no questions asked.

Good to hear. Mine was the same way,,,once I figured out I didn't have the lid in there correctly, life was good.

It was on ebay, some guy bought it, wrecked his firebird prior to installing it, and had it sitting in his house brand new! I had the SLP lid also and was not planning on changing but could not pass on the deal!
