Well consider it helped Philly, I can't think why it wouldn't help Dallas? They still have a good receving core with Williams, Craighton and Whitten.

it did not work with randy moss. he was never out of line. his acts in oakland were justified. they gave him the shaft so he got mad. TO has way too big of an ego, and is too selfish to be "put in check". that is the oxymoron. ive watched it in SF PHI and DAL. seemed humble and excited about the oppertunity in the beginning. and as time passed we watched the facade disintigrate. it just seems to be taking less time for that situation to unravel. and yes i do peek at a play or two of football. that is the one with a pitcher right.

You must have forgot about the incident with his coach over in Minnesota, or the way he brought major controversy to his team by all the crap he was doing off the field. And while where at it, let me throw in how he quit on his former team (Raiders) in the middle of the season by intentionally dropping passes in order to force a trade. That guy has just as much baggage as T.O., but thanks to a highly structured enviornment like New England Moss has resurrected himself. I think anything is possible...
People can poop all over T.O. if they wan't to but Dallas has a lot more problems than him. They kind of remind me of the '06 Giants, the year before they won the bowl. A complete circus.Last edited by Cayenne97; 03-06-2009 at 05:35 PM. Reason: I spelled something wrong. I'm stupid.

Considering i'm 2 hours from Minneapolis, I heard all the reports and watched every single game. Incident with the coach? What are u talkin about? Moss' only big off the field incident was when he bumped a traffic cop with his car. On the field? Nothing besides walking off the field with 2 secs left on an onside kick. If u were around the media here, you'd understand that they had it in for Moss.
Dropping balls on purpose? Bold accusation there. The Raiders were a shit team.

the raiders stuff was completely justified imo. he was fucked there from the getgo. this is coming from someone who grew up in a raiders household. i distinctly remember OAK damn near promising moss the world on a silver platter. he was supposed to be their go to guy. they were going to build a team around him. there was supposed to be no reason for him to think about leaving the bay. but that wasn't what happened at all. that silver platter turned out to be just some plastic wrapped in tin foil. and the world was just a painted rubber bouncy ball. they just gave him money and damn near ignored him. they half ass threw the ball to him WHEN they finally decided to throw to him. and eventually he thanked them by doing what he could do to get out. TO does not know how to chill out. he gets something in his head and trips out like a girl. he made it seem like romo was straight up cheating on him with whitten. he thought that and therefor it must be so. then he threw the final straw on his spiral out of DAL and went public with that theory. he has done great things from a stats standpoint but is not and most likely never will be a team player. and i never pointed at TO for DAL not doing good in a mediocre season. it is their chemistry. money doesnt buy chemistry.

Reminds me of one of the final games for the Cowboys last year. It was when TO was whining about Whitten getting the ball too much after the game. The stats showed TO getting throw to like 16 times compared to Whitten's 10? What a selfish prick. That was pretty much the final nail in the coffin for him in Dallas with that controvery he started.

I agree with you, the guy is a nut. But he does have game on the field. Well just have to see...it is ultimately up to him if he will have an early retirement or not. Despite what we think someone is infact going to pick him up in the off season, but - he'd better be good cause this will be his last shot!

i think they would have been better without TO. they didnt need the headache that he brought. they would have had a team that would have actually had a chance to play together. that is what would have been best for them. that is coming from a fon of the sport in me. although i do like the fact that he was such a big headache to DAL lol. and that is coming from my personal feelings on dallas. this is the only post in this thread where my feelings had anything to do with what i wrote.
