no doubt man. use both. they all have their purposes. you can load a lot of weight onto a machine and exercise the exact muscle you are trying to build. one of the best machines there is, is a hammer strength incline chest press. Plus with a machine you can do forced negative reps and really fry your muscles out.

You're only 19, i'd say give it some time. I had pretty bad acne on my face during my teens, but i'm 23 now and i only get the occasional pimple here and there. Have you tried Proactive? I'm not sure how well that works on other parts of the body besides the face. If you aren't having any luck, i'd suggest going to see a dermatologist, or www.google.com.
