Just remember.

When you change the oil on a mustang, you have to put the hose pipe down in the oil tank after you've drained it and let the engine run for awhile to clean it out.

And No, I don't have to search hard to find mine. Its Candy Apple/Crimson Red with 18" Polished TTs on it. Ain't seen one like it. Or another with the two tone interior.
Yeah I could have spent some more on the SS, but I already did one engine and it STILL eats a quart a week. Let alone water dripping on me as I drive down the road. Needed seats, two rims, both front fenders (Thank You Discount Tire) and a full paint job (just the 101k on it wear wise). Yes I know it's no SS.. believe me I know.
And it will be a cold day in Hell when I get an Import. Wife says she will get the new Camaro when they come out.
I enjoy the interior of my new car, its clean lines and solid. Guess most of you haven't seen the inside of a Cali Special. And the exterior is different. Lower style spoiler with black insert instead of the slab bumper cover and the rear has the diffuser style like the GT's.
Yeah I am old. Like the heated seats. Like not having a converter hump on the passenger side. Like having Both front seats power so my wife is comfy ( or my buds). I like how it rides WAY better then the SS ever did. It wasn't a walk in and give up the SS.
In the end, it's still American. It's still a V8 and it's fun.
Yeah I whipped the shit out of dozens of these in my SS. But I got a bike now if I wanna go fast. The GT gets 28 ish and has a warranty til 60k. I dumped a 101k mile car I owed 6k on and stepped into a fairly new car that I feel is damn good looking. I will post pics later on.

Those california specials are nice and not all that common. Good luck with it. Although it doesnt run the 9 sec 1/4 all the guys here run

it is infact a good car, and you will be relieved at the way it rides and the fact that there wont be many squeeks and rattles if any at all.
