I think the one from my LM-2 would swap right over.

i'm still on the fence about it but the worst mod for me is too much cam for a dd. power brakes suck at idle. when it idles. cold natured. surges at low cruise speeds.sounds incredible though.

That is a rather small cam designed by GM. Should run power brakes easily. Only 228/236 at .050 on a 110 LSA. Lift is listed as .525 so it doesn't even require a big spring. I assume you are also running a 383 judging by your user name....that engine would make this cam seem even smaller.
If you truely do need more vacuum for your power brakes it would be a cheap investment to install an extra vacuum reservoir. I usually hide one on the bigger cam cars to run in unison with the factory reservoir.

Did you get a tune after the cam install?

Yes, that makes it a .555 lift, I was referring to the camshaft itself as being mild.

there are still other things i need to do to the car such as a stall conv. there is vacuum at idle but the tuner set my idle at 900 rpms for some reason and the 383 has so much torque i have to almost 2 foot the brakes to hold it in place(what a terrible problem to have lol). i hope a small stall will help with this. was just sayin that a high lift, short duration cam may have been a better choice for my current needs. I'm also not very happy with my tuner. anyone know of a good reputable tuner in the d/fw area?

No stall converter is the biggest issue. Thats the biggest reason you can't hold the car still. That's also the reason why your tuner bumped the idle speed up.
A camshaft with overlap like that, needs a loose converter just to idle, and that's not considering the power band. Without a loose converter the engine will struggle to idle hence the idle speed being bumped up. That in turn will push through the brakes. Without the high idle the engine would idle and die while in gear or idle very very poorly.
A good coverter will solve all your problems. Then you can set the idle to something more satisfactory.

Sunset Orange Metalic- 2001 Camaro SS
Buying a modded car. My Trans Am had its fair share of problems i had to work out before i was happy with it.
Would rather have done the work from scratch and done most of the mods my way
Not exactly a mod but so far my biggest regret as far as my cars go

I hear ya, I'm glad I found an un- molested one when I was looking. Not one aftermarket part on my car when I bought it.

i really dont have a worst but if i had to pick one itd be the Qtp ORY with dual cutouts.... while it also is my favorite mod.... install was a bitch had to do some bandsawing and alot of tweaking to make it fit, but once installed i loved it, clearance isnt great but thats any 3in ORY, then both motors on the cutouts failed.... so i just have manual caps fabbed up for it now

^^ Agree. Although some members report no issues with theirs. Our car felt terrible with the poly trans mount -- I think it lasted about 2 weeks before I swapped back to the stocker.

I don't have any clearance issues with my 3" ORY and I am lowered.
