2016 Camaro SS - Summit- 2001 Trans Am WS6 - NBM
Friday I won a $50 gift card during a Jeopardy-style trivia match at a company year-end meeting, followed by $500 in winnings afterwards in the casino we held the meeting in. Made last-minute weekend Christmas shopping that much easier, and we dined like royalty too Then today my oldest son won a TV at school...and he's giving it to his uncle who's TV is going out. Pretty selfless kid.

Nope....very few. Every now and then there will be a report of 1 but it's where 1 bear makes the news. Far northeast corner gets a few more when young males start moving out of PA but that's about it. A young male got hit on a highway about 5 miles from the hosue around 5 years ago but that's the last one I've heard about in a long time.

Wow...
I brought back my Dad's Marlin 35 cal rifle, he's had that thing since 1983. Last 13 yrs he hasn't been able to use it, let alone fire it. He took it to a few gunsmiths but they all said it worked fine......with blanks. The issue was with live ammo. So I had a buddy that likes to take projects like this on and gets them to work. Makes a killing with the Pawn shops this way.. They'll sell him an inop firearm for cheap and he'll do his thing and sell it back to them for 2-3x's what he paid. Hell he's on their speed dial with a couple of them. He did this and worked his way up to a Kember 45. That one he kept.
So he gets it working in less than a day. This rifle has I guess you would call 2 firing pins. The safety goes between them and when the hammer strikes the first pin it then strikes the primary pin striking the round. It was this 2nd pin that was so gummed up that it wasn't letting the pin slide completely thru.
My dad usually keeps on top of his cleaning but even he never knew this was set up like this. So it's up and running and I got him an early Christmas present. He's never been able to get a deer with that rifle since he's had it. All the others have many but this one, nope.

Two more work days left in 2018... hard to believe the year has gone by already. We have our office Christmas party tomorrow evening and then head downstate Saturday afternoon for another gathering. I get to cook Christmas Eve dinner and Christmas morning breakfast -- Dawn is trying to get a headcount for both so I can get my menus together and go shopping. In between all this, I will still be busting ass on the office renovations for the new tenant.

That don't leave you much time to take someone's last dime right before Xmas. Take their last dime, they can't buy gifts for their kids, the kids grow up with hate in their hearts not knowing the joys of Xmas, commit felonies later in life, need lawyer, and find your number carved into a cell wall at county lock up. New client. That's a lawyers long term business model.
Don't wanna do criminal law? Take their last dime before Xmas, husband can't afford gift for new wife, wife starts cheating on him, 2 months later he catches her, 2nd divorce under way, still writing checks to you for first one, and gets another loan to finance new divorce. Return business.

Are you kidding...Christmas parties almost always lead to divorce for ppl. It's like he's baiting deer, cumming the water, etc. He's just looking out for 2019.

I did Ribeyes here for our Xmas Eve dinner. Kids are in bed and presents we're all brought in and put under the tree. Just waiting for tomorrow now. The 2 younger ones will be fun to watch.....Zach is officially in shitty teenager territory so I'm just regretting getting him shit altogether at the moment haha. Punk ass teenagers.
