So I got a letter from the HOA stating that I'm violating one of the bylaws. Care to guest which one?
No race cars stored on property? Wait what? So I after a great big laugh called the HOA rep up and asked WTF? Seems a fellow neighbor thinks my bird is a race car. I asked how and why? Cause it is loud.
I politely told her that it is not a race car, it is driven daily, has exhaust, more importantly is registered and has full coverage insurance. Just because they deem it "loud" doesn't mean it's a race car. If they want to see what a race car is I can arrange to have one come by and show you what a "race car" really is and sounds like. I also asked if they have complaints about all the bikes making "noise" as they start and ride with in the neighborhood? She said no, I said see, maybe I should complain every time one of those bikes rumbles around the neighborhood. They are awful loud too. How about those lawn mowers that seem to wake me up at 7am on a Saturday? I then asked when have they stated my car makes too much noise and then she told me it's not in the division but on the county road that runs along the division. And that's where I can see it loud cause it's a major roadway and sometimes I have to get on it to get up to speed but I don't open my cutout in my town (I believe in not shitting where I sleep). I laughed then told her well that takes it completely out of the HOA's jurisdiction. What happens outside the division is not part of the HOA's bylaws. I could pull out on that road, do a mile long burn out and all anyone could do is call the sheriff but it's not within our subdivision so HOA can't do shit. She then agree my point, so I can ignore the letter. I again politely said please send me that in a letter to put with this cause I don't want this coming back later on without record of this conversation for the same thing.
I had a good laugh today...

Woke up and realized that I do not have a plan for my day. Kind of an odd feeling.

How does one go about changing the chime like that? Can you just switch out the chime with another board? I've got tons of dog toys with speakers that have music, and other animal noises, etc...
I'd love to do that to my husbands truck without him knowing. That'd be funny

Huh... I think I've still got the old chime for his truck from when I installed his head unit. Maybe I'll open it up and see if any of the sound boards from one of those dog toys will work. I've got a few pretty annoying ones that would be hilarious in the door chime.
