i have a small car dryer that is basically a compact electric leaf blower. only about a foot long and very light weight but works great and has an attachment to get in the smaller areas. very powerful and works great.

My life is a- Ben Stiller movie.
i use the absorber. I like it. just keep going over the car over and over again until its dry.
Also-once i do dry the car, i'll run it up/down the street to shake the water loose from the nooks/crannies. Then hit it again with the Absorber.
I always follow with quick detailer or a full wax job too.

You want a waffle weave microfiber towel for drying (its basically a microfiber towel with a waffle pattern on it made especially for drying and they also have a silk edge on them so they dont scratch. They make edgeless microfiber towels for removing wax or polish also (they dont have a sewn edge on them so they prevent scratching).
I use COBRA microfiber towels- and no I dont work for them hahaha.
