This has taken a long time. It took 1 month for someone to step up and provide a test car or a bumper and it's taken 6-7 weeks for them to get to this point, but I've seen their work and this will be worth it.

No other exhaust beats the look of CME on a camaro, so wait a week and i'll update you.

It is just the valance and it's $300 shipped or $250 picked up. I found a local metal caster that will make the tips but I'd need to come up with 2-3k to have the mold made for them to be reproduced.

i have a feeling someone is going to get into trouble with this. you can't just copy/take a mold of an item and then sell it. someone will get you guys with something. if not good luck to you.

all they have to do is change just the smallest thing about it, and nothing can be done. change an angle or a curve is all it takes. just as so it isnt identical.

I don't know if patents apply for things like these but I looked into that and there is no patent on the design of the CME valance from SLP. Also I've thought about adding something that should be able to be easily removed to make it look like stock again. So, if we run into a roadblock with this, it'll be taken care of.

I agree, a couple of simple tabs you can cut off would be awesome! Please don't change the way it looks though, I think you should go with an exact copy of SLPs design..

I just heard from the guy and he said it was sent to the manufacturer for molding earlier this week. He said he's been waiting on the sample piece and it should be there any day now. After that it would just need to be checked for fitment and any possible revisions.

Glad to hear ADAM-00SS. How did everything with the accident turn out?

He still hasn't heard from the manufacturer and like I said it is all in the manufacturer's hands. The piece can't be fitted until they have it of course, so I can't update until then. I hope it isn't too much longer. I know the interest will still be there for a while, as long as it comes out before the 5th gen camaro. LOL

I did a Public Forum on 3 different site and got about 75 people on a list. This was just for the tips, and then the Valence was gonna come latter but plans fell through

Everything turned out ok I guess. We fixed ours and they fixed thier's, no more problems.

I agree, the demand will always be there. The cme looks to good.

I haven't gotten an update from him but I know he has been very busy making a grill and a bumper for the g35 coupe. He got started on that project before the valance and that one is being fitted as well. I feel like I'm bugging him everytime I call him so I'm just going to wait until he calls me. Hopefully it's not much longer because I know a lot of people are waiting for this.

I hope it happens soon - I am waiting - passed on one on ebay for 500. If it goes on for more then a month I will probably break down and spend the extra cash
