Nice ride! As far as headers I would go with 1 7/8 unless you plan on doing a stroker in the future. I have Kooks 2" headers with 3" collectors, they don't make the 3.5" collector anymore , but this is for my 421 stroker which is why I need the much bigger primaries.
The reason most don't do the 2" headers is because it is complete and utter overkill on the stock 346, likely you won't gain much if anything to be worth it to warrant it.Last edited by 98TransAmWs-6; 04-15-2014 at 07:39 PM.

With your advice and the confirmation from arh customer service (he said 2" primaries for over 1100 hp), I'll be sticking with 1 7/8 no egr/no air fittings with catted y pipe. I'm looking at an install date of july 4th

Mishimoto oil catch can for dirty side. Mike Norris for clean side. AC delete with BMR panel. Fixed belt tensioner and some other little extras.
