Best invention ever. Key to it all is keeping the car well polished and makes removing dust easier. The duster glides very smoothly over a freshly polished/waxed car. As you use the duster the paint surface will seem a little less smooth and helps you know when to re-apply.

The duster will leave fine scratches on your car if you're not careful.
I owned one for years and loved it. One thing to keep in mind is kind of let
it glide over lightly and don't put the whole thing down on and wipe.
I think thats where a lot of people get pissed. That and they think it's a
great alternative to washing a car. It should only be used if you have very
light amount of dust and it was cleaned very recent.
Take your vacuum and clean it once in awhile too.

Very true. If there is any dirt on the car it will probably scratch. I dont have that problem because my car is never driven in rain, and is always garaged so only dust collects.
