Since you quoted that out of context, I was referring to size, strength, speed and agility.
I didn't quote that out of context, he seems to be lacking leadership and guts. He tends to hide when the going gets a little tough.

Bo made mash potatoes out of fastballs.
He also had a damn cannon for a throwing arm.
Did you ever see that clip of him picking up the Seahawk linebacker and driving him on his ass into the end zone?
    Thorpe never did that.

    .
    Adrian Peterson has.

As far as Thorpe goes........out of curiosity, have you seen videos of him playing? As I understand it, he was the "Jim Brown" of football during his time. Bigger, faster, and stronger than anyone else on the field. I'd bet he drove plenty of people on their ass in to the end zone. Just guessing, I never seen him play.

You speak of Brian Bosworth, and I love Bo Jackson. He would be my personal choice at #2. He was far superior in baseball compared to Deion Sanders or anyone else that has dabbled in 2 sports. I truly wish Bo would not have had his athletic career ended prematurely.

    Haha. Very true.

Wilt did have things changed for him but acerage heigth player then was a foot less than he was. He wouldnt do as well in todays game. The reason I said Olajuwon for best centers is becaise he was great then and could be great during an era of basketball.

I dont think we can keep making this point of double sport athletes. Just because a person is great at one thing doesnt mean they are/arent good at another. That one sport could just be their passion.

In my opinion of double sport athletes (not necessarily pro double sport) julius peppers is up there. I dont know if yall remember his carolina days on the court. He was a beast there too

I like Adrian, he is an excellent FB player but, he is not Bo.
You don't see him playing multiple sports and doing well in both.
And I have not yet seen Adrian play at Bo's level on the field yet.
No one is afraid of Adrian out there.
Everyone was afraid of Bo though.

I don't know about that, I think a lot of NFL players and defensive cordinators would disagree with your statement about Peterson not scaring them

    Say what????

Settle down dude. All I said was that Adrian Peterson has ran over and steam rolled people in to the end zone.

There certainly are people out there that are not crazy about attempting to tackle him head on one-on-one, I guarantee you that.

Not once did I attempt to compare Adrian Peterson to Bo Jackson. You made that up all on your own.

Edit: Now that you mention it, I think I will compare them as far as football players. Peterson hasn't performed at Jackson's level?? Man, what stats are you looking at??? You better do some research before spewing that.

Gotta agree there as I raced MX from 16 to 26 years of age.
Ricky got his wins from good riding and injuries to guys who were and are a lot better though.
