Hell I was born in 87 and most of this applies to me...its a wonder that I'm alive today.
I attribute a big part of my good health to playing in the dirt...and especially to drinking from the waterhose....there was probably ebola growing in there and i chugged it right down.

I guess the thing that gets me the most. Cell Phones.... You can be with family,friend,co-worker etc.... Your in the middle of a conversation and the phone rings. They answer the phone and walk away. They dont say excusme or I need to get this they just walk away. I have a cell phone I dont use it in the car or text in the car. If I am talking to someone I let it go to voice mail. To me the cell phone has made the nation a little more rude... Born in 65 and I unplug from technology often.

I remember like the movie sandlot, we went out to the park and made our own ball field and played baseball with only 7-9 guys, building our own ramps in front of the house to jump on our bikes. If you wanted to go anywhere it was on our bikes or you you walked, there was no getting rides from mom or dad. Getting grounded meant you stayed inside and watched your friends play outside while you sat in the window. There was no time outs, you got a smake upside the head or a belt. ADD was also fixed by the same means, of coarse it wasn't ADD it was acting up and you didn't get a pill to fix it. Dad instilled the fear of god in you and you knew from a look you were getting a beating. If you got a cut, the only thing you heard from mom was "it's too far from your heart to kill you.!" if you got a cut mom or dad put that red shit on it that burned like hell!!!! I think they called it mecuricomb(sp).

True... But I was not driving in the 70's.. I can just remember gas under a dollar when I started driving in 1981. WoW thats 28 years ago..
Pioneer Super Tuner... 6x9 speakers.... Heck I still have some 8 track tapes but nothing to play them in.... Maybe I should throw them away..

I still have a very very good turntable and can play cassettes.. The 8 tracks well they collect dust. And IMO... Very clean vinyl records out perform cassettes,8 Tracks and CD's.. But that comes from a audiophile.. If you have never listened to a crystal clean LP aka vinyl well....
