I might have assumed they were SS upgraded lines quoted. Yes, please verify as I am looking to upgrade my existing stock OEM lines with the SS braided line kit I've seen before. Car is a 2002 Camaro SS.

Am I correct in remembering that the ABS-only versus TCS equipped cars run a different line setup in the rear?

Really? Everyone else has a different kit for ABS only and TCS so that is cool that with stoptech it doesn't matter.

The coating on the surface of the rotor came right off with some brakleen. There was a few tiny spots of rust under the paint but I just hit it with a cookie wheel. I was not about to break in my hawk pads with pain on the rotors.

I have seen powder coated rotors and it didn't clog up the pad. From what I have seen is the pad will take off the layer of paint without clogging up but I would use cheap or old pads to do that. That said I would try and get it off prior.
Glad it came of Chris!Last edited by 98TransAmWs-6; 02-28-2014 at 04:09 PM.

I have painted lots of rotors - never really worried about masking the surface, it comes right off and cooks away in a hurry.

Looking good, Chris! So much better than the stock OEM rotors!

I had drilled and slotted rotors on there with hawk pads but the rotors were cracking around the holes.
