WHAT the hell is swine flu..?

I have a cold or the flu now... I got no idea what the difference is. Anyways I tell someone I'm sick and first thing I hear is you got swine flu! So I stayed home and away from people, I'm sure they would think the same thing and everyone is already freaked out enough with all the news reports.

OMFG!!! This just in, a new strain of flu devastated an entire country's economy because people are scared f a new strain that killed 200 people, compared to the 36,000 people that die in America each year from the regular flu virus.

Good point. I was thinking there had to be many more fatalities during flu seasons than with this Swine Flu outbreak. Granted it's not done yet and the death toll could rise but the Flu can be lethal. Once this thing runs its course we won't even think about it. In the meantime we can all thank the media for hyping this thing up and freaking everyone out. Let's watch the DOW fall another thousand points.

Exactly! Let nature run its course!! IF people didnt always pop pills all the time for every little thing, their bodies wouldnt be as acceptable to catch little viral and bacterial infections.

People need to get the fck over it and MOVE the hell on!

I agree... I don't take medicine unless I absolutely have to. I used to get headaches all the time, unless they were migraines, I didn't take anything. Years later I hardly get them and if they get bad, some aspirin and an hour later I'm good to go.

yeah the regular flu may kill 36,000 people every year, but this pig flu has just started spreading. you really cant compare it yet...

I had it when I was 5, my dad got it working at a hog farm, you can get it from live hog and chickens just the same as from a person. not too many other things can transfer from animal to human. if you are healthy and have a good immune system it wont kill you just like the flu. back when we had it there was not much knowledge of what it really was so we where pumped full of crap to get rid of it. the news always blows things out of per portion ,nothing to fear just respect.
