Yes...not happy.
Over priced for their system because the equipment isn't special and their 2 yr contract makes you end up paying 3-5x's it would cost if you bought it outright. Their monitoring fee will jump after 2 yrs, mine went from $30 to $80 in less than a yr after the contract ran out. They want you to resign a commitment for lower rate but not update any equipment. I moved on from them.
Better of with simplisafe.com or Ring. Yeah you pay upfront but it's a one time cost vs "rental" fee.
Simplisafe lets you activate the monitoring anytime you want. Meaning if you have the system but want to monitor it yourself you don't have to pay for them to watch over, go out of town, you can have them do it while away for $15 IIRC. On Ring I don't know too much about it, just what my co-workers say they have it and like it.
I prefer the 2 German Shepard's and 2A security plan myself.

Well they gave me a pretty good deal as a partnership thing with our electric company. I don't pay anything down for activation, installation or equipment, and they apparently are rolling out a new 'Command and Control' setup that's 'supposed' to rival other companies. I'll see how it goes and make a change if needed. I'm also only on a 1 year contract, so not too long for a trial run.

2016 Camaro SS - Summit- 2001 Trans Am WS6 - NBM
Learning the ins and outs of your new house is fun! This week I learned that the front outdoor faucet was literally one turn away from being broken, and guess who made that turn! Of course it was on Sunday, so none of the local hardware shops were open. Our little Walmart had a valved fresh water attachment in the RV section, so I used that to temporarily plug it until I could get another faucet. Luckily the pipe in the wall is loose so I can pull it out, hopefully that keeps me from having to tear into the wall... I'll need to get it installed this evening before the freeze hits.

Cut it off and use a gator bite or shark bite on it.

Sharkbites make anyone a friggin' plumber. They even have them for PVC sewer lines now...
