I use the kind that clips on the regular toilet because I don't want anymore piss and shit to clean up. To get my kids used to it, I let them watch Packy and I do our business. At first, I gave the small rewards (i.e. a peice of sugary cereal or mini m&m) just for sitting on the toilet. Once they got used to it, I started only rewarding them for peeing and later pooing.

My wife has tried that but it hasnt worked.
