Did they check the voltage regulator or just output? Your condition is a common sign of the regulator which is internal on GMs

Well it looks like either I fixed with the terminal clean up or it fixed itself, Last night I checks again and the lights quit flickering and the voltage gauge has stopped fluctuating.

Somebody hit a deer about 100 yards from my house early this morning or late last night. Saw it this morning when I left so I stopped to check it out. Big bodied buck, one horn broke off and the other just a spike. Would probably have been a real nice buck in 2-3 years.
