Nice man, welcome to the club. That's weird though, maybe they improved that 4L60E in the GMT900's, I know mines is terrible, it really holds the truck back in terms of power, it's in need of a tune badly. It's really bad on the highway as well, if you need to get pass someone, be prepared to floor it because it won't kick down unless you do.

What trim do you get? LTZ, Z71 etc.

The LT -- in our area it was the only one to look at. Nice dark blue, all the bells and whistles, cloth seats, DVD player, new tires, etc... I have a bit of work to do on it and some things to check. I'll get some pics up at some point.

Spent all day roofing. Fucking hot. Highlights of the day. Came accross a giant honey bee nest, swarming and going into foundation. Let them chill for like hour, so they were still steady stream comming out, but most were in. Then my dad grabs shop vac. Lays on ground, put tip right at opening. Givin' it couple of days, but pretty sure there are like 200 bees minimum in vacuum now, and no more bee problem. Oh, and neighbor pussy cat came walking by with a rabbit in it's mouth. wtf was up with that.
