Red+White Top and Stripes- 2000TransAmConvertible A4
My Bird
This is my jewel, I have to say I think its pretty good considering I did it all myself while in high school starting when I was 17.
The interior.
Interior at night, this is an old pic, I changed the head unit since this pic to a Pioneer N4, which still has red leds.
Old pics of the engine bay, I've done more mods since then, added a strut bar, fuse covers, more leds, EL neon wire, headers and some other goodies. CheckeredFlagStore covers are on the way soon, they will be red to match the body and have matching checkered flag racing stripes like on the body.
FAST 90/90, SLP Lid, Kooks JetHot Coated LT's, American Racing Y-Pipe+Magnaflow Cats, DHM Electric Cutout, Flowmaster American Thunder Catback, HP Tuners Software, 343 rwhp.
BMR Convertible Subframe Connectors, Hotchkis Strut Tower Brace, BMR Driveshaft Safety Loop.

Where she has been sitting....
The wind has taken a decent toll on the paint...nothing I can't correct though in the spring.

Actually embroidered. I wouldn't do the vinyl stick-on route.

Neons
They're 12 inch StreetGlow tube neons under the dash.
http://www.streetglow.com/site/neon.neontubes12.php
This is what I see at night.
I also installed EL neon wire on the rear speakers.
http://streetglow.com/site/accessories.elwire5.php
I wrapped the edge of the speakers in the glowing wire, sorry if the quality of the pic isn't that clear but you can see it in the rear seat area to the left of the pic, its the red glowing ring.
You get these parts at some auto parts stores, Advance Discount Auto, and Autozone carry them. You can also find them at a car stereo shop. I got them at Advance, they had the best selection. They'll have the 12 inch tube no worry, the EL neon is harder to find while in stock, I had to order mine. When you're choosing yours I'd get the 12 inch over the 9 or 6 any day, the difference in price is minimal compared to the difference in size. $45 for the 12 inch and $43 for the 9 inch, and $40 for the 6 inch. So for another 1/8th of the price you double the size of the tube between the 6 and 12, that's a good deal. But don't mind me, its your car, keep it as bright as you want it, every one to his own preferences.

Check out oznium.com I had there 2 piece cold cathodes in my other car and there bright but the tube is much smaller and easier to hide under a dash. You couldn't even see my tubes in my other car
