ASC stands for America Sunroof Company, who performed the WS6 conversions (they modded Formulas & Trans Ams into the WS6 package) for GM for the '98-'02 WS6s. Each car was assigned an internal conversion # as they went through their shop, just like SLP did for SSs and Firehawks (and '96-'97 WS6s for that matter). However ASC's records were not as well maintained over the years and some info has been lost. The ASC conversion# and date are just two more pieces of trivia about one's car that is nice to have....

No two ASC#'s are the same; sort of like your WS6's fingerprints...the date just shows exactly when your WS6 was "born"....

How does the emblem adhere to the bumper and how long do they last stuck on there?

peel-n-stick adhesive back. It'll stay on until you tear it off. Just be careful when you wash around it!

after i get my last two pcs. and detal the bay ill send you some picks of my kit. im going to do the wire mod to some time sone and want to have some think to cover the holes over there so if you can think of some way to work in my asc# 7242 and born on apr. 12th 2001 that would be sweet. oh and if you change your mind about the ws666 badge lol
