black black black- 77 swb
I am going to have nightmares tonight.
I could easily make that car as good as new, nothing that horrible was done to it but I would charge to have interior trim panels removed to restore corrosion protection.
There will be a good deal of welding involved in fixing the screw holes. Easy welds, but the backsides will have burns that will expose bare metal.
Mike needs to man up and close up shop and work at WalMart until he can pay these people back.

My life is a- Ben Stiller movie.
that's why it's smart to contact local boards/enthusiasts to find who does the best work in the area. It's your car's finish-it's worth paying for!

how can you seriously give a product like that back to someone, and expect them not to be super pissed off?

Considering I work in the auto body business I can say he got exactly what he paid for. A stock front bumper repair and paint is at least $500 at a reputable shop.
IF he was smart and shopped around and had ANY common sense $250 for that much work is really cheap and it should have set off warnings.

I think some of the bumpers i've put on (already painted) were around 500 just for the bumper alone. Dont get me wrong, these people did thousands of dollars in damage to the car and charged 750 bucks. But the moron owner of the car was trying to get somethin for basically nothin. I thought a lil about this and I think both parties were wrong. The shop owner shouldnt be in business and the owner of the car shouldnt expect good work for so freakin cheap.
