Speakers Sound Terrible...HELP!

Yeah it is harder to get some bass in the vert. One of the problems is the rear speaker has no baffle to it because of the opening for the top. It probably has a little better bass with the top down. Also check to make sure the pos and neg wires arent crossed on one or more of the speakers. Did you get coaxials or three way speakers?

I got the coaxils, but i remembered that i did not run new wire to the front speakers only to the back ones, o and does the cable matter cause i got some cheap one from autozone like 20 feet for 5 dollars!

+1 on checking polarity. sounds like you got a pos/neg mixed up somewhere(s).

Or you're missing the sub(s) in the trunk! Seriously, if you're trying to get a decent quality well balanced sound at even a modest volume, a sub is very helpful if not necessary imho.

What gauge was the wire? Was there full range speakers in the rear or just woofers?

Sorry to the op for hijacking the thread! Well in the back it was the stock subwoofers, which i took out since they did not work no more. And since i put a new h.u i got coaxil speakers for the back! Which i know would not give any bass, but i at least thought they would sound descent but sound worse everyday. Maybe i did cross the positive and the negatives! Actually it is very possible!
