Pewter- 02 WS6
Well first off I think we can all agree that there are some people that have what I call attention to detail. And some that well.... don't.That makes the biggest difference over any type wax.Second is the application methods,Dual action buffer, high speed buffer, wet sanding (we all know GM is the king of orange peel)and even hand waxing.Little things like wheel wells being cleaned and dressed, head and tail lights being polished and waxed to avoid the t/a bird in the rear from fadeing away.I'm not trying to act like Mr.know it all.I just want people to know there is more than just spending alot of money on a high dollar wax.NO wax will look as good as it can if proper prep is not done right in the first place.

agreed, but if 2 surfaces are prepared the same, i dont think your going to convince me that meguiars 2.0 compares to pinnicale soverign

I'd be willing to try,I encourage you to do some searches they've been compared in the past.I happen to own a can of pinn II. Which is better for metallics (I own an 02 pewter WS6)than sovereign which is better for blacks and reds. Also "sov" is a carnauba wax and "megs 2.0" is a synthetic wax I would use #26 in comparison.I'm NOT disputing that pinnacle wax is not great stuff. But I will argue that $14.00 is alot better than $85.00 and if I masked off a section of my hood and did one with megs and one with pinn your eyes would not be able to tell me which one is which.I'm also not promoting megs Its just good products for the price and great customer service.

1. Wash with Victoria's super wash
2. Menzerna with PC (LC orange pad)
3. Prima Finish with PC (LC white pad)
4. Prima Amigo with PC (LC black finishing pad)
5. Victoria's Concours Red
Obviously a lot of prep left out, but those are the main steps for my T/A.
I use the same steps on the daily drivers, but use RejeX sealant instead of Victoria's.

Zymol for the win! I use it on my black CLK500. Extreme high-gloss, all done in one stage.

Mequiar's Number 7 (Show Car Glaze) followed by Number 26 wax.
This is what we use on all the show cars and most of the painters I know swear by the stuff.
That #7 is by far the best glaze I have ever used.
That's my 2 cents and it won't break the bank and have your car looking wet to no end.Don't be afraid of the bottle!!! Be afraid of your tune!!!

I had good luck removing stubborn swirls with 3M Protetct It ll. It is a bit pricey, but it is made for dark colors.
