if im gonna go CTS... ill wait on the new ones and get a 2 door...
and I care if there are 100's of them... thats one of the things i want in a care is uniqueness..
also you are right XLR's arent know for handling, but with some tubular A arms and coil over suspension and some serious sway bars it will reign it in enough to enjoy... seriously all i ask out of it more is a 6 speed...

i would LOVE to have a second gen.... LOVE... but there is so much work involved... and the initial investment...
I could swear there was a company that made second gen kits that used alot of c4 parts, but i cant find it... and im sure after i spent all the cash they want fot the kit and all the labor to put it togethere i could have the real thing...
Its just alot of work... or alot of money... or both...

see i understand your uniqueness criteria pred....but the problem is with how much bank you have...money buys uniqueness soley on the fact that most can not afford. so for what you are looking for i think the c6 vette is still a good choice... yea you might see some around..but compared to most drivers that car is still unique ..if that makes any sense

shady's got a point...a vette will always have that heritage/allure from all. I mean, EVERYONE knows what a vette is/means. Money/status/reputation.
But i'm with predator-they are fuckin EVERYWHERE

i mean lets look at C6's alone... im guestimating atound 130,000 C6's are on the road... that means 1 in every 2500 people has a C6... DUDE!!! that aint cool... then count in C5's... and there is like 1 vette per square mile... Sorry guys... I just cant do that...

i live in an affluent area thats number 6 in forbes "best places for a family to live" and shit, if i see a c6 twice a week its a lot. Where the fuck are you guys seeing vettes at the rate that you do? I would LOVE to live there. If people stopped driving vettes, chevy would stop making them. Oh yeah, the aftermarket we all enjoy? Without popularity, we'd have no aftermarket either.

I live in a town of around 200,000 people (prolly 400,00 counting surrounding areas) and off the top of my head i can think of around 25 C6's on lots right now (new). Earlier this year 1 lot had 14 on the lot.
If im out and about for the day I prolly see 3 to 5 driving around. There are times that 3 of them will be sitting at a light together. They are everywhere...
