    Americans vacation in Europe and Europeans vacation in the USA. Besides with the currently weak dollar vs the Euro I bet it doesn't cost all that much (so to speak).

    vacation! beach, warm weather, stuff like that. we're a party of friends and family, rented a house near the beach. anna maria is the barrier island next to bradenton. but i'm sure we'll drive over to pete at least once or twice.

    Agreed about strange laws, however we can modify our cars a lot easier than you can in Germany. I do want some unlimited speed areas here in the states, tho.

    And, if you are enrolled in the military here, you can buy beer and other alcoholic drinks on the military bases.

    before 21? well, here it's a package deal, at 18 you get it all. i could buy alcohol on the base when i was in service, but why should i? booze is so much cheaper at the grocery store...
