how??? because physics doesn't allow for it... it's just impossible... for example... if you travel back in time and your mission is to try to kill you self you couldn't do it.. you would pull the trigger and your past self be dead and you would no longer exsist... there for you would have no reason to kill past your self and not be able to complete your mission... it applies to almost every aspect...

that is if there is one set reality. In quantum physics there is no set law to an occurrence only probabilities. However some of the new theories state that everyone of the outcomes does in fact happen in an alternate reality. So you could theoretically go back in time shoot yourself and in doing so you create a new reality where your own reality stays the same. oww now my head hurts.

correct... the only way it would be possible is if a multiverse exsisted... you would inturn travel to an alternate universe but then that is not to say that things will be as they are now in this universe... the results could be cataclysmic... pandoras box even...

String theroy right now sounds like a scientist pipe dream they basically are pulling things out of there ass and putting it where they need it. Also since "strings" are so samll it is unlikly that in the near future that they will be proven.

id go back to 1960's rob a bank and buy a 69 camaro 66 mustang fastback and definently a cuda lock them in a garage and run them once in a while clean them and in 2000's id be a rich man from there investments

If I could go back in time I would only go back a couple of years to fix some major mistakes I have made, I have no interest going back into an era that wasn't meant for me. Sure it would be amazing but I would be feel out of place, everything I'm accustomed to wouldn't be there, all the things I view as necessities would be distant inventions. No thank you, I am fine where I am now.

Hell yeah I would. That put be at 1934, I think the time my grandparents grew up has to have been one of the coolest. They pretty much started with horse and buggy they saw the rise of the automobile, airplane, jets, helicopter, submarines, electricity, radio(and every thing at goes with it cassetes, cd, mp3), tv and hd tv, vcr's, dvr's, dvd player, cable, satalite, space travel, machines that can do just about anything for you, computer, game consoles, internet, a/c, phone's, cordless phones, cell phones, dishwasher, garbage disposales, sky srapers and i'm sure theres still a few I missed. They have seen just about every great acheviment man has made Not to mention once they got into adult hood and actually had alittle money it was the 60's and they got to have sweet ass mucle cars.
