cop cars are slow as hell. Motor trend did a acceleration test with them and they were putting up consistant 7's. so pretty much any "sports car" can outrun them. you just have to do it in a place without helicopters. I think it would be cool to see a new Corvette ZR-1 in police blue and white.

There is a vid of a camaro and a 5.0 mustang racing right infront of a cop at a stop light. I saw it on Cops and I crack up every time because the 5.0 driver was asked something by the cop and he said something like, "yeah he took me but I would of got him on the top end" shit wish I could find it....

They say the Crown vics are made for Durabilty.

Indiana State Police still has Camaro LS1 It's on I65 Alot. State cop told me the crown vics shutdown at 125mph or so.
