whats base about it? no power windows/locks/ttops? all adds weight and makes your car slower

haha you have a point there...but im not into the hard top cars.

and about the hawks..i donno about the auto having a faster 1/4 time but i do know that they did make a M6. thats really what i was looking for but they are all $16k+ that i can find within a reasonable distance

Cool, I just heard that it was because the auto can "shift faster" supposing in an m6 you miss a gear.

M6s have the fastest times in a car thats 100 percent stock..... 1/4 mile that is......an auto is obviously just more consistent and better for bracket racing...much easier to launch im sure....i just find it much more fun to drive a stick in a sports car.....theres a reason many sports cars ONLY come in manual trannnys

if it is a dealesrship you should know they are fishing. My z28 was originally 18,000 I got it for 11,000. With the gas crunch if you had some balls you could walk out with that car at 10,000 just remember if they say no, walk to your car and don't look back (thats how I got my car so cheap-fuckers). Wait wait name your price. they are in it for the most money they can screw out of you.
