Yeah...not much fun.

Most people don't know they have it until they are elder. Then they get a tumor under their skin they can't explain. The tumors grow at the end of a nerve.
In Sara's case, the upper end of the sciatic nerve at her spine.

The hip...yes.

Everything else...no. The NF is permanent.

She wears a small brace overnight, just to make sure it stays in place.
Physical therapy appointment this afternoon.
She will bounce back quickly, but even just today it has been rough. Her legs are SO dry, and the muscles are regressed. Barely able to sit up on her own right now.
Like I said, I am sure she will bounce back quickly though. Holding her right now is funky.
Got so used to the cast on her...now her legs are like cooked noodles. Just kinda hanging.
