wow, great responses guys, I have a day off tommorrow so I might hit this up. (without looking at my calipers right now) are the seams where its made noticable enough to sand down and buff? I dont think my wirewheel will fit in their very well. I think I might just paint them black, red on red might not look too good. Can somebody post pics of polished calipers??

I never posted a pic of mine when I did them.

I don't have any entire car pics that show it good yet though. I'll get some later.

Someone may have already mentioned this but what kind of paint are you using so that its heat resistance? I think the caliper would get a bit toasty...

they make caliper paint to withstand the heat. it comes in a spray can or in a kit with the paint, brush, cleaner, and tape.

You can get a Dupli-Color kit that is brush on, I would recommend using this if your not going to remove the caliper...if your taking them off and painting them then spraying them would prolly be easier.

I use the labeled caliper paint and engine enamel. I clear coated mine as well with a clear engine enamel. It gets hot.. but not hot enough to mess up that.
